ChkDNS (chkdns.com) is a free tool operated by HVN GROUP that checks DNS records on servers in Vietnam and worldwide and looks up information about IP addresses. By using ChkDNS you agree to the terms below.
1. Results are for reference
- Results reflect the answers of DNS servers at the time of the check. Other computers, ISPs or servers may see different results because of caching (TTL).
- Waiting times are estimates based on the TTL reported by the DNS servers.
- IP locations are approximate, based on public databases.
- We try to keep results accurate but are not liable for damage arising from relying solely on ChkDNS results.
2. Fair use
- Each user has a limit of checks per minute and per day so that the tool stays available for everyone.
- Do not use ChkDNS to scan domains in bulk, to attack or overload other people’s DNS servers, or to get around the limits and bot verification.
- We may temporarily block access that shows signs of abuse.
3. Third-party data
- IP data: IP Geolocation by DB-IP (db-ip.com), licensed CC BY 4.0; IP address data powered by IPinfo (ipinfo.io), licensed CC BY-SA 4.0, when used.
- IP registration data comes from the public RDAP services of the internet registries.
4. Privacy
How we handle data is described in the Privacy policy.
5. Changes and contact
We may update these terms or change or suspend the tool. New terms take effect when published on this page.
